Are you interested in integrated analog circuit technology? Do you want to research neuromorphic hardware and discover applications for it? Would you like to take theoretical concepts, adapt them to our customer?s needs and develop circuits for analog neural networks? Do you want to help shape the next revolution in machine learning? Then we have the right job for you! At Fraunhofer IIS, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on research projects and R&D work for customers in industry. You will acquire a fundamental understanding of the technical implementation of neural networks and build on that to develop analog concepts for neuromorphic hardware. Working independently, you will implement architecture concepts in CMOS circuits and supervise the working group in this area. Further tasks include helping to draw up project and grant proposals. If necessary, you will also perform requirements analyses together with our customers and participate in project or work package management. - A degree in electrical engineering, physics or similar subject - Deep knowledge of analog circuit design - Experience with simulation tools for designing integrated circuits - Interest in having contact with customers - Excellent written and spoken English - A high degree of creativity, independence and individual responsibility - A structured, team-oriented way of working
